It was felt that with so many emerging technologies, it was very important that these technologies be made available to the blind and visually impaired, and that a full time
qualified instructor in this area be made available so that people wanting to investigate and learn such technologies could access such technologies.
The first area of concentration is a screen reading devices of which we offer either JAWS (Henter-Joyce, Inc.), or WindowEyes (GW Micro, Inc.). With the ability to work
with a screen reading program a user will be ready to continue their education related to computers with very little restriction, if any. eBlind
