The Rochester Lions Club is presenting the 29th
annual "Festival of Cars" on Sunday – May 25, 2008 in the beautiful Municipal Park near downtown Rochester. This show, featuring classic and antique cars has become part of the tradition among car enthusiasts that signal the start of summer. Part of the two-day Heritage Festival, which attracts 25,000 people annually, are 200 beautiful old cars. Displayed under the trees along paths near the meandering Paint Creek, one can understand why this show has been called "The prettiest car show in Michigan".
The Rochester Lions Club would like you to share in this beautiful show. Trophies are awarded at the show in 22 classes plus two "Best of Show" and two long distance in pre-war and post-war categories. One hundred percent of all
proceeds will be donated to Leader Dogs for the Blind®. As sponsor of this event: |
- Your name is printed in the program as a donor of First, Second and Third place trophies in one of the 26 different classes of winners for one donation.
- You will be acknowledged publicly to the crowd several times.
- You may donate items such as: key rings, pencils, advertising items and other promotion materials that will be placed in car entrants' packets (minimum 250 required). Let us know, we will gladly pick up your items.
- You may personally present the trophies in your class to the winners at the awards ceremony; just let us know that you are attending the ceremony.
- You will receive a beautiful wall plaque and a free "Festival of Cars" t-shirt.
- You will be thanked in the Lions Newsletter.
- You may sponsor more than one class if you desire.
A minimum donation of $100 is suggested of a class trophy, and $200 is suggested for the "Best of Show" awards. Your registration form must be received by May 15, 2008
to assure proper printing in the program. Please do not delay, as we anticipate the classes will be filled quickly. Thank You,
